Police have confirmed that 3 people arrested in connection with a serious assault in Shanklin earlier this year, which left a man with facial injuries, have been released without charge.
Emergency services were called to Green Lane in the town at 20:50 on 27th March after receiving reports of a group of people shouting and acting aggressively near The Rogers.
Further reports were then received that a man had been attacked. He was left with serious facial injuries.
Officers cordoned off the area and carried out detailed enquiries, with a metal pole seen discarded in the road alongside a rucksack.
A 36-year-old woman and a 15-year-old boy were both arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. It has since been confirmed that a 41-year-old man was also arrested for the same offence the next day.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has now confirmed that all 3 suspects have been released from bail with no further action to be taken.
The case has been filed pending any new information.

So what happened? They were released from bail no further action taken? Doesn’t make sense to me?
It means nobody with a backbone came forward to help police with any evidence they are all deaf ,dumb and blind in Green Street, and allow the rest of us to say Police are not doing their job,it will end with a 15 near old in hospital thru retaliation!!
