NIGEL FARAGE TO HOST ISLE OF WIGHT RALLY AHEAD OF LOCAL ELECTIONS
Share on FacebookShare on X

Nigel Farage, leader of Reform UK, is set to visit the Isle of Wight when he hosts a special political rally in less than 2 weeks’ time.

The event – to be held at GGs on the outskirts of Newport on Monday 9th March – is billed as a ‘Time for Reform’ event, with special guest speakers from the national party and a keynote address from Nigel Farage, who is tipped to be the next Prime Minister.

Attendees to this high-profile rally are told to expect a high-energy, broadcast-style event, with around 2,000 people anticipated to attend.

Article continues below this advertisement

The doors will open at 17:30, with the main programme starting at 19:00, according to the official Reform UK event listing.

Tickets are being sold for just £5, available for Isle of Wight residents aged 16+ only at https://www.reformparty.uk/events/isleofwight.

The news of this major political event comes with the 7th May local elections fast approaching, offering members and supporters a chance to hear directly from the party’s leadership ahead of the polls.

Isle of Wight residents will go to the polls on Thursday 7th May, from 07:00, to vote for local councillors in 39 wards across the Island.

Reform UK Isle of Wight branch have not yet commented on the forthcoming event.

Just let the Brexit numpties who voted for something
they didn’t know they were voting for, vote Reform.

It’s so funny.

Since Brexit Britain has been inundated with boats
arriving on our shores.

WHAT DID BREXIT ACHIEVE

At least the Government are moving them from
hotels into houses.

Personally I would move them next door to Reform
voters.

Best to mix in, they all ain’t that bad.

You probably vote Labour and are happy for these illegal immigrants to come to this country while you stay hidden on the Isle of Wight not seeing any. You really need to get over brexit how many years ago was that now.
the country needs change and reform are the best option for this country going forward.
i suggest you go spend the day in London or Manchester to see what these places are like these days and why Nigel is needed.

Ick.

Drumming up funds for approximate another 10 candidates with zero morals, principles or integrity.

The only thing they will actually reform is ol’ Nige’s dented ego and his bank balance. Most of them will be too dim to see it though until after the fact.

And how are the UK’s fishermen now? Or the NHS? Anyone seen hide or hair of the ‘£350m a week’ since Brexit, Nige?

Vote Reform. Big on talk, big on BS, lacking in fact.

Since Farage’s Brexit the country has been flooded with
extra people.

Well done Brexiteers you got what you wanted NOT

Personally I don’t mind, looking at many home grown
numpties, give me Migrants any day of the week.

Many of them are nice law abiding citizens.

As far as I can remember, we, the British public voted on Brexit. It wasn’t forced on us by Reform or any other party. We all had a chance of putting our X on a ballot paper, and the only reason we have such a problem with illegal immigrants is because Labour want there votes to remain in power.

“we British public voted on Brexit. It wasn’t forced on us by Reform or any other party”
Forced,.. No…
encouraged, through unending lies and deceit – Yes
Unfortunately, farage idolises trump, and follows his playbook closely.
e.g. promote policies that are in favour of keeping the money in the pockets and bank accounts of the rich, & keeping the rest of the population in a condition where they are easilly kept in line by hollow promisses of improvements for them (which in reality just improves things further for the rich).
& if anything seems against you, or what you want, defelct the focus away by hammering on about something else obsessivly.(immigration). and if that doesn’t work, just blatently lie

farage makes it plain that his main focus (apart from lining his own pockets) is on immigration, and convincing the populace that it is the only real, and worthy, issue in the UK
but the reality is that some immigration is necessary for the stability and growth of the british economy, and the ‘illegal’ / undesirable part of it is very minor in consideration of other reasons our country is sufferering… (one of which being Brexit)

I’m surprised at you, Sunshine, being one of the more erudite contributors to this site. You really should know that it was your man Starmer who gave away the fishing rights for the next 12 years. As to the NHS, it now receives a lot more than an extra £350m per week than it did pre Brexit. The fact that no government, of either colour, has seen fit to embrace the opportunities that Brexit offered is hardly the fault of Farage. Tell us why it would be a good idea to rejoin a block whose economies are in most cases performing even worse than ours and whose share of world trade is in steady decline, as it grapples with the suffocating mass of self inflicted rules and regulations.

Even by your standards EIE, that is a singularly stupid comment, given that he hasn’t yet had the chance to ‘walk the walk’. Why do you never think to engage your brain before posting? Perhaps you haven’t been able to locate it.

I find it comical

I would move migrants next door to Reform voters

I was reading The Telegraph this afternoon as
one does.

The Government are moving thousands of asylum
seekers from hotels to private homes.
In December last year 68,538 are living in privately
rented houses and flats, cheaper than paying hotel
fees.

We all need to integrate, much better in the long run
these people didn’t choose to leave their countries of
birth.

Hopefully the island are doing their bit for the cause.

“these people didn’t choose to leave their countries of birth” No ? really ? They were all packed of and exported against their will ? Then proceeded to travel through multiple borders of “safe” countries heading towards the promised land of benefit britain.

1. Financial Support (Cash Allowance)
Payments are provided via an ASPEN debit card, which can be used to withdraw cash or pay for goods.

  • Self-catered accommodation: £49.18 per person per week to cover food, clothing, and toiletries.
  • Full-board (catered) accommodation: £8.86–£9.95 per person per week if meals are provided (e.g., in some hotels or hostels).
  • Extra payments for families:
  • Pregnant women: An extra £5.25 per week.
  • Babies under 1: An extra £9.50 per week.
  • Children aged 1–3: An extra £5.25 per week.
  • Maternity Grant: A one-off payment of £300 for those within 11 weeks of their due date or with a baby under 6 months old. Maternity Action

2. Housing

  • No-choice accommodation: Housing is provided on a “no-choice” basis, typically outside London and the South East.
  • Types: This may include flats, shared houses, hostels, or contingency sites like hotels or former military barracks.
  • Utilities: Council tax and utility bills (gas, electricity, water) are covered. Refugee Action

3. Healthcare and Education

  • NHS Access: Free access to NHS services, including GP consultations and hospital treatment.
  • Medical Costs: Eligibility for free prescriptions, dental care, eyesight tests, and help with the cost of glasses.
  • Education: Children of compulsory school age have the right to attend free state schools and may qualify for free school meals.
  • Childcare: Children aged 2 to 5 may be eligible for 15 hours of free early years childcare. GOV.UK

This adds upto an equivalent salary of £25,000 per annum per person. On average, a single UK resident adult on benefits gets upto £17,800 per annum without claiming for extra’s like pip or pap.

When your own country encourages illegal migrants through a wellfare system that prioritises and rewards them above its own citizens, you have a problem. One you cant just point a finger at Farage and Reform when this system is an inherited Labour policy.

I am picturing the 2,000 numpties who will be attending
tatts all on display and cigarettes dangling from their mouths.

None of them have a clue, they are only voting Reform because
they want the boats to stop.

Lol

These are the same people who voted Brexit and opened
the channel for the boats to arrive.

I find it rather comical.

Only ever vote for something if you know what you
are voting for.

How it pains me to read these childish comments. I long for the days when the state and future of our country was debated in parliament. When people had respect for politicians and this petty name calling and divisive society was far from the norm.

Can’t you all just stop and take a look at yourselves? Why not really consider what every party offer and then do all you can to take the good from each and every one rather than pick a side and slag everyone else off.

It’s not only “not a good look” but it is eroding our society and culture by the day.

Thanks for screwing my country.

Ask oneself, why do people vote Reform!

All because they don’t like colour or other religions.

Grow up, we are all one, the world is big enough for
everyone.

Prejudice is not normal.

Utter rubbish – “we are all one” – if you think there are no damning cultural differences you are off your rocker. I don’t care what colour somebody is, what their religion is OR if they are an immigrant.

I DO care about my culture and preserving it. I care about incompatible cultures jeopardizing what has taken centuries to evolve.

In my book, people are more than welcome to come here, more than welcome to pray to whatever imaginary being they believe in. They just need to fit in, obey the law and respect British customs.

Britain no longer exists in many areas.

The damage is done, it is too late to change
things to the way they used to be.

I fear for our grandchildrens futures.
