The Isle of Wight NHS Trust Charity Football Team – the Spartans – will take on the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service in their second bout on Sunday 1st March.

This follows a thrilling 6-5 win for the NHS at their last clash. The teams will be fighting it out to raise funds for the Firefighters Charity and Dream Holidays.

As with previous NHS charity football matches, this one has additional entertainment for all the family. Little ones joining the adults can enjoy an Easter egg hunt, egg and spoon race and a ‘decorate the Easter bonnet’ competition. Half time will see a difference with children of all ages given the opportunity to chase an ‘Easter bunny’. The ‘bunny’ will run from one goal to another whilst clutching Easter eggs and trying to reach their destination without being tackled to the floor by the children!
