The Isle of Wight NHS Trust will take on Sands United FC Solent in a special friendly charity football match on Sunday (18th August).

Islanders are being encouraged to support the two sides when they take to the pitch at the home of East Cowes Vics at Beatrice Avenue, East Cowes.

Sands United FC Solent is a unique football team supporting dads and other bereaved family members who have suffered the loss of a baby. The team is made up solely of those who have directly been affected by the loss of a child through miscarriage, stillbirth or neo-natal death.

The match will kick off at 13:00. Entry is £3 per adult, £1 for children under 16. All money raised will be donated to Sands – stillbirth & neonatal charity.
