After a series of sold-out shows and critical praise from artists and audiences alike, Strings Bar & Venue is continuing to build momentum as the Island’s premier live music destination.
The rest of 2025 will see the venue host a line-up that rivals many cities around the country, with some incredible announcements also on the horizon.
Saturday 11th October sees the return of Newton Faulkner, who still holds the record for the fastest selling gig at Strings in just 15 minutes. Tickets are still available for the matinee show with doors opening at 15:00.
The following week on Thursday 16th October features an appearance from chart topping songwriter Luke Concannon, who as part of the duo Nizlopi had a number one with ‘JCB Song’.
November continues with stars such as PP Arnold on Friday 14th November. She began her career in 1965 as an Ikette with the Ike & Tina Turner Revue and went on to be a successful artist in her own right. Fans of indie bands are treated to The Lilacs, who appeared at the IW Festival this year, swiftly followed by The Sherlocks.
December sees an appearance from ‘Golden Brown’ songwriter and frontman of The Stranglers Hugh Cornwell on Monday 8th December. The same week that features American rap rock band Fun Lovin’ Criminals on Thursday 11th December.
A Strings representative said:
“This has been our busiest year since opening in 2017 and the acts we have still to come this year are incredible. We have also got some big announcements coming before the end of 2025”.
Tickets for these shows are available via the Strings Bar & Venue app or the website www.stringsbarandvenue.com.
