Newport IW FC’s Under 15s team held their annual presentation evening on Friday, showing off with pride the 8 trophies that they have picked up during a very successful season.
3 of the trophies were won whilst playing in an older age group – Under 16 – for the Island’s Under 16s Futsal League, Under 16s League and the Under 16s Cup, where they beat West Wight 4-0 in the final.
The other trophies won include the Mid Solent League (Joint Winners), the Hampshire Under 15s Cup, the Sports Tours Tournament (Runners Up) and the ESF Grand Finale Champion of Champions.
Awards were handed out on Friday evening for individual players too:

• Manager’s Player – Aiden White
• Player’s Player – Ben Snow
• Sunday’s Top Goalscorer – Jake Wright
• Sunday’s Manager’s Player – Fraser Law
• Sunday’s Player’s Player – Ryan Hughes
• Supporter’s Player – Ben Timbrell
• Most Improved Player – Brad Thompson
Gifts and thank you cards were also handed out for all of the managers and coaches.
