60-year-old David Tickner from Newport is to appear at the Crown Court later this month accused of several historic offences against a young boy.
Tickner, of Cook Avenue in Newport, stood before Magistrates on Tuesday morning (4th April) facing a total of 5 charges, 4 of which relate to gross indecency with a boy under the age of 14.
The 5th charge relates to indecent assault on a boy under the age of 16.
It’s said that the offences all took place between April 1991 and April 1996 when Tickner was aged between 28 and 33 years of age. His alleged victim was between 11 and 16.
No plea has been entered with the case sent up to the Isle of Wight Crown Court on 24th April.
Tickner has been given unconditional bail until that time.
