A new Sourdough Pizza & Pastaria is opening in St Thomas Square, Newport.
The new restaurant is moving into the former Olivo premises, which has been renovated with a new fresh and modernised take, creating a cool and trendy Italian eatery with delivery.
Toto, named after a famous Italian comedian, takes inspiration from the modern pizzeria restaurant chain ‘Franco Manca’ on the mainland. It is part of the Fumo33 (Ryde) & Cibo (Wootton) group.
With Sourdough Pizza and pasta being the forefront of the menu, the restaurant will have its very own vegan menu section and dishes such as Palzone (baked dough balls). The new Pizzeria will feature the finest Italian ingredients including San Marzano Tomatoes, Genovese Pesto, Neapolitan Cold Meats and Fiori Di Latte Mozzarella to name a few.
Delivery starts from Thursday (26th November) with the plan to open the restaurant for dine-in once the latest government lockdown is lifted – on Thursday 3rd December.
Delivery can be ordered via Island takeout service GoEats, the Toto website (www.totoiow.co.uk), the Toto app and eventually Uber Eats. Self-collection will also be available by calling 01983 821181.

“Named after a famous Italian comedian”? That’s a new one on me. Surely this restaurant is actually named after the US rock band. Or Dorothy’s dog in the Wizard of Oz.
