A new family support hub will open in Newport, strengthening early help services through a partnership between The Parenting Network, Isle of Wight Council and Quay Arts.
The dedicated space will operate as an extension of the Island’s established Family Hub network, enhancing provision already available while creating a more connected, accessible and community-led service for local families.
The Parenting Network, working alongside Isle of Wight Council and Quay Arts, has supported thousands of families in Portsmouth and will now introduce a range of its established programmes to the Isle of Wight. Services will include Dadzclub, Young Mum’s Club, peer support networks, practical family help and community-based events — all shaped around the specific needs of Island families.

The initiative represents more than simply a new premises for the organisation.
Matt Foster, Founder and CEO of The Parenting Network, has said:
“This is about creating a welcoming space where families feel supported and understood. It’s a place for dads, mums, young parents and carers. A place where early help meets lived experience and where the community truly feels ownership.”
Building works are being supported by local contractor Mountjoy, whose contribution is helping prepare the premises to host families in the coming months.
The Parenting Network says it has already received a warm welcome from partners and community groups across the Island.
Further details about opening dates and programme launches from April will be announced in due course.
