A brand new contemporary choir for all ages and abilities is set to launch at Shanklin Youth Club next month.
‘The Collective Voice’ will begin on Monday 2nd March and will run from 18:30 until 19:30 at Shanklin Youth Club on Victoria Avenue.
The choir will focus mainly on contemporary and popular music and is open to singers of all experience levels. Organisers say the aim is to create an inclusive and welcoming space for people who enjoy singing, whether they are seasoned performers or complete beginners.
The first session will be free to attend. After that, sessions will cost £7 on a drop-in basis or £5 per session when booked in advance in line with school term times.
The choir is being launched by local singer and vocal coach Summer, who previously released singles in 2019. She hopes the new group will bring people together through a shared love of music.
