CG’s Café has opened on the former site of the Cornerstop Café on Orchard Street by Newport Bus Station.
It is a new venture from Callum Grant who, along with his family, has been busy renovating and redecorating the space in preparation for the grand opening which took place on Wednesday (2nd August).
The café will be open from 08:00 to 15:00, Tuesday to Saturday offering fresh coffee, cooked breakfasts and pastries.
Taking to social media, CG’s has said:
“We can’t wait to welcome you through our doors to experience the cosy ambience, the irresistible aroma of freshly brewed coffee, and the mouth-watering goodness of our homemade treats!”
Looks too good for that area. Wish him well but should have been in a more salubrious location IMO.
