A mysterious monolith has appeared on the beach at Compton in the West Wight overnight, capturing the attention of locals.
Photos of the perfectly mirrored object, which appears to have been buried in the sand, have been shared by Island Echo readers who came across the new addition this morning (Sunday).
The discovery comes after artists in the USA recently captured headlines around the world by erecting a 12ft tall metal monolith in the middle of the Utah desert. Others have been found in California and Romania too. The ‘art’ is now being sold for $45,000.
It’s currently unclear who is responsible for the installation below the cliffs at Compton, but great effort must have been taken to get the object down the steps from Hanover Point.
Will this monolith disappear as quickly as it appeared?

So we will get visitors who are wishing for more to life than what there really is, but, in searching for this ‘greater life’ will, bring CV and misery for us all.

In the 80s/90s we had crop circles. Now it looks like we are having an outbreak of metal monoliths. Hopefully, someone will rig up a webcam so we can find out what happens next.
How big is it?
It’s size does not matter. The fact it is here is the problem, now odd balls will come from far and wide, bringing disease and spreading it to us all.

No, Mr Ike has his own thoughts, some very deep, but would not resort to trickery to gain attention. He has no need. I don’t follow him, but all views need to be heard and then discussed before forming an opinion.
Like the great President Trump, Mr Ike’s comments are sampled and used to discredit him by mis quoting just pieces of his statements.
Hence the President ended up tweeting so that was harder for his enemies to manipulate.
