UPDATE: Several vehicles have been involved in a road traffic collision on Briddlesford Road near Havenstreet this evening (Tuesday).
Police are on scene at the junction with Blacklands Lane having been alerted to the incident at around 17:15.
A Honda and a Hyundai have both sustained damage, but thankfully no one appears to have been seriously injured.
The road remains open under direction with minor delays in the area.
UPDATE @ 17:45 – Paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service have now arrived on scene and are assessing those involved, which includes children. 2 ambulances are on scene.
UPDATE @ 18:15 – A second road traffic collision has occurred in nearby Havenstreet, close to the Steam Railway.
Motorists are advised to take particular care when travelling in the area.
