A motorcyclist has sustained injuries to his leg following a road traffic collision with a van between Brading and Newport this morning (Wednesday).
Emergency services were called to The Downs Road at around 08:15 after a motorcyclist slipped on the wet road and into a passing van.
Traffic was brought to a standstill before motorists were directed pass the scene by Police.
A 30-year-old male has been conveyed to St Mary’s Hospital, Newport.
The road remains open.
