A motorcycle and car have been involved in a minor road traffic collision on Beaper Shute in Ryde this morning (Wednesday).
Police and the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service were called to the scene at the junction with Harding Shute at around 11:35 after a blue Honda Jazz, believed to be driven by an elderly male, collided with a green motorcycle.
Paramedics are currently attending to the motorcyclist, who is not thought to have sustained any serious injuries.
The road remains open in both directions, however was partially blocked for a short period.
