For the first time in several years, Isle of Wight motorists will be able to fill up their tanks for just 99p per litre from tomorrow.
Morrisons in Lake and Sandown are cutting the price of Unleaded fuel to 99.7p/l and Diesel to 104.7p/l.
The supermarket says the much-welcomed price slash is a thank you to all key workers and motorists undertaking essential journeys. It comes after a recent fall in the price of oil.
The pumps will roll back the price from tomorrow morning and other supermarkets are expected to follow suit.

I remember several years ago when petrol had gone up a lot, several people said if it goes up to £1 litre they would stop driving, wonder if them people that stopped driving will return to driving now.
Morrison’s have a branch in Newport and Lake, where is their Sandown branch?
Can’t miss it mate just next to ‘Sandown’ Airport
That’s lake one! It’s just another printing mistake by the editor. Common at min.
A high pressure job at the moment. Lake should have a capital ‘L’, so you see how easy it is to make mistakes.
Lake is a village and civil parish in the town of Sandown hence po36 postcodes hence ‘Sandown” Morrisons
I don’t care, I live in Lake not Sandown.
That is the one at Lake, I know that. I was making the point that there are only two branches of Morrison, one at LAKE, Sandown and one at Newport which is not mentioned.
I live in Lake. Why is everything in Lake classed as Sandown? GRRRRR
And when lockdown is over and everyone can go out again and people start heading back to work the price will shoot back up
Why are petrol stations seemingly exempt from round pricing? 99.7p for example. Nothing else is charged this way. Just asking.
