The supermarket chain has issued a recall for Morrisons The Best 6 Thick Cumberland Sausages (400g) with a use-by date of 1st May 2025.
The Food Standards Agency has warned that the product may be unsafe to eat as it could contain fragments of plastic.
The affected product is:

Customers who have bought the affected sausages are advised not to eat them. Instead, they should return the product to their nearest Morrisons store in Newport or Lake for a full refund. No receipt is necessary.
Point-of-sale notices are being displayed in all stores that sold the product, including those on the Isle of Wight, explaining the recall and what steps consumers should take.
No other Morrisons products are known to be affected by this issue.
