The N Gauge Society’s Isle of Wight Group is set to host its second one-day Model Railway Show in Wroxall this Saturday (10th May), following the success of last year’s event.
Taking place at Stenbury Hall from 10:00 to 16:00, the exhibition promises a packed day of model railway displays, layouts, and trade stalls for enthusiasts young and old.
Sponsored by Upstairs Downstairs – the Island’s model railway specialists based in Sandown – the show will feature layouts in N gauge and a variety of other scales. Visitors can explore everything from full-scale scenic builds to unique miniature creations such as a working mantlepiece display and even a model railway in a suitcase.
There will also be static exhibits and a small number of local traders selling pre-owned models. The organising N Gauge Society group will have N, O, and OO gauge pre-owned items available to view and purchase.
Admission is £3.00 (cash only) on the door, with accompanied children under 16 admitted free of charge. Light refreshments will be served from 11:00 to 15:00.
Stenbury Hall is located on Station Road, opposite a small free car park, and is easily accessible via Southern Vectis Bus Route 3, which runs every 30 minutes.
