Thousands of walkers crossed the Isle of Wight on Sunday for this year’s Walk the Wight, battling through sunshine and showers to raise vital funds for Mountbatten.
From families and first-timers to seasoned fundraisers, walkers completed routes across the Island in support of Mountbatten Isle of Wight, with spirits remaining high despite the changing weather conditions.
Half walk, full walk, school walk, flat walk – there was something for everyone.
The first person to cross the finish line at The Needles at Ben Windsor, who completed the full 26.5-mile Bembridge-Alum Bay route in an impressive 3hrs 36mins.
Established in 1991 by Bill Bradley and Frank Stevens, Walk the Wight now raises more than £500,000 each year for Mountbatten.
