Local men’s mental health organisation Mindset Bros CIC has been officially shortlisted for the Overall Community Champion award at the Vectis Radio Isle of Wight Community Awards 2026.
The nomination recognises the impact the organisation continues to make across the Isle of Wight community.
Founded to tackle the growing crisis surrounding men’s mental health, Mindset Bros has become a community lifeline, providing safe spaces, open conversations and support for men who may otherwise struggle in silence.
Over the past year, Mindset Bros has delivered regular Walk & Talk wellbeing sessions, hosted community meet-ups and events bringing men together, supported hundreds of men through peer support and conversation, partnered with local businesses, charities and organisations and raised awareness around suicide prevention and mental wellbeing.
The nomination recognises not only the work of the organisation but also the strength of the Isle of Wight community that continues to stand behind its mission.
Ross Taylor, Founder of Mindset Bros, has said:
“This nomination belongs to every man who has ever turned up to a walk, opened up in conversation, or supported another person when they needed it most.
“Mindset Bros was built by the community, for the community — and we are incredibly proud to represent the Island.”
The awards are organised by Vectis Radio and celebrate individuals and organisations who go above and beyond to make a difference locally.
Public voting is now open at www.vectisradio.com. Only 1 vote per person is permitted.
