Mark Royl and Zane Cohen have won Westridge Golf Club’s May Cup, contested on Sunday (4th May).
A beautiful morning with a sharp breeze greeted the Westridge members competing for the cup.
With 17 out of 20 pairs breaking par in a betterball competition, it was a hard fought contest.
One of the reigning Champions – Mark Royl with a new partner in Zane Cohen – took the title by 3 points with 45 points, beating long time clubhouse leaders Bowy White and Phil Brennan with 42pts, with the other reigning Champion Bob Singh-Bansi putting up a good show, also with a new partner in Shay Phillipson, in 3rd also on 42pts.
