Binstead man Stephen Tuckey, who is accused of criminal damage and stalking of a police detective, will stand trial next month.
The 44-year-old, of Hillrise Avenue, appeared at the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court this week, charged with stalking without fear/alarm/distress and criminal damage.
Tuckey is accused of stalking DC Ross Jones of Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary, sending him emails of abuse, writing his name in public for people to see, and further undermining him. He is also accused of causing damage to the front door at Newport Police Station.
It is alleged that the offences occurred between 24th May 2023 and 1st July 2024.
Tuckey previously entered a not guilty plea to the matters on 13th May 2025.
District Judge Calloway warned Tuckey that he would not accept any further adjournments to the case and bailed Tuckey to appear at the same court on 16th July.
