A businessman accused of 3 counts of fraud over the installation of resin driveways will appear at the Isle of Wight Crown Court in November.
Former Angel Coatings and National Resin Driveways director, Simon Regan, 56, of Bradfield Road in Barrows Green, Crewe, appeared before the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court yesterday (Tuesday) where he pleaded not guilty to 3 offences of carrying on the business of a company with the intent to defraud creditors or for other fraudulent purposes.
The offences are alleged to have taken place on the Isle of Wight between 9th September 2014 and 14th March 2021.
Magistrates heard that businesses in which Regan was involved are alleged to have repeatedly installed poorly laid resin driveways for largely inflated prices resulting in the accumulation of approximately £100,000 in losses by around 40 customers.
Regan will now appear before the Isle of Wight Crown Court on 8th November.
