Over 30 youngsters wowed audiences with their performance of Matilda The Musical Jr in association with Theatretrain Isle of Wight and TEd (Theatre Educational) at Trinity Theatre in Cowes this weekend.
Putting on 5 shows over 4 days the cast put on a professional performance that would be at home in the West End. Powerful acting and singing skills expertly told the story of Matilda the little girl determined to change her story.
Lead roles shared by various cast members added variation but no less professionalism, whilst the swift costume and scene changes added to the talent on stage.
With clever acting, unique cake eating, and all the favourite songs, there was lots of smiles and rapturous rounds of applause from all the audiences that came to see them.

“The children have given everything they’ve got from the start, I was in no doubt they would do amazingly, and it was an absolute pleasure to work with so many talented young people”
