Lucy Burke emerged victorious as Ladies’ Champion at the 2-day Shanklin and Sandown Ladies’ Championship on Monday and Tuesday (18th/19th July).
Ms Burke was also the winner of the Scratch Salver with a gross score of 166. Runner-up was Dawn Hodge with 172, and Bev Whorwood took 3rd place with 178.
Fran Cole won the Handicap Cup on countback from Connie Huntington with a total nett score of 142, with Lucy Burke taking 3rd on 150.
The Gallop Cup was won by Bea Janes with a nett 74; runner-up was Lorrie Hawkins with 76; 3rd place went to Dawn Hodge with 77.
The Ladies’ Bronze Champion and winner of the Berry Salver with a gross 192 was Fran Cole; Connie Huntington was runner-up on 198, and Anna Garriock took 3rd place on 204.
The Harrison Trophy (18-hole Stableford) was won by Angela Lassey with 42 points; Fran Cole took 2nd place on countback from Connie Huntington with 37 points.
The Newcommin Cup (9-hole Stableford) was won by Lorraine Harley with 12 points from Anne Corby with 10 points.
