The first day of meteorological summer – 1st June – brought blustery conditions for the June Salver.
36 members played the first monthly major played on the new course.
Adapting to the course and conditions the best, Louise Webb came out on top. Scoring 7 up to win by 3, from Ian Couse 4 up in second and Peter Holdcroft third on countback from Chris Wilkinson, both 3 up.
