Isle of Wight-based businesses have been celebrating success in the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Muddy Stilettos 2021 Awards.

An awards ceremony was held at Exton Park Vineyard in Hampshire, where winners met with Heidi Ruge, editor of the award-winning Muddy Stilettos lifestyle, to collect their awards.

Some of the food on the night was provided by Cowes-based Borneo Pantry, with Mermaid Gin bottles added into the winner’s goody bags.

A total of 75,000 businesses were nominated across the country with 855,000 votes cast.

Local winners included Seaview Art Gallery (Art Gallery); The Old Fort, Seaview (Destination Pub); The Hut, Colwell Bay (Restaurant) and Summer Lilly’s Flowers, Newport (Florist).

Hero Brown, founder and Editor-in-chief of Muddy Stilettos, said:

“After a year of multiple lockdowns and hardships, it’s been an honour to showcase the most awesome lifestyle businesses across Hampshire & Isle of Wight. The response to this year’s Muddy Awards has been unprecedented – thousands (and thousands) of people voted, giving such a fantastic boost and a well-deserved pat on the back to so many.
