LEAVES ALIGHT LEADS TO FIRE STATION CALL OUT

Retained firefighters from East Cowes were mobilised to a local park during the early hours of this morning (Saturday).

1 appliance was sent to Victoria Grove at 00:17 when it was reported that a fire in the open has developed.

It was found that a pile of leaves were alight adjacent to an electricity sub station.

What has the fire detective come up with this time? We have had a glass bottle burning down an entire house in daylight when everyone was home during lockdown.

We have had a fire resistant gas meter box burn to bits because of a fag butt, despite being surrounded by brick pavers and a solid wall.

Now the leaves, what was that, friction from mating hedge hogs?

These people need to get OUT of the college class room ‘theory’ suggestions and use eyes, and common sense. Sadly NO courses for the latter.

martin-To my eyes the theory of the start of these fires is quite simply chav scum brats. Maybe it’s because they are not allowed to say who they really think it was.Like you say a bit of common needed. Looks to be the latest pass time of the scum just lately, causing arson.
