This is your weekly round-up of some of the latest court cases heard at the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court.

Monday 14th June – Friday 18th June 2021
• Steven Miller, 44, of Standen Avenue in Newport, was fined £80 for breaching a non-molestation order. He was made subject to a 12 month restraining order and ordered to pay costs of £85 with a £34 surcharge.
• Danny Douglas Gibbons, 25, of Josephs Way in Shanklin pleaded guilty to 3 charges of assault by beating of a woman. He was made subject to a 18 month community order with 35 rehabilitation days attached, fined £300 and ordered to pay costs of £150 with a £95 surcharge.
• Rachael Dixcey, 37, of Manor Crescent in Newport was made subject to a closure notice on her premises, which shall remain closed for 3 months due to disorderly, offensive or criminal behaviour.
• Neil Craven, 34, of Angelica Grove in Newport admitted assault. He was fined £162 and made subject to a 12 month restraining order. He was ordered to pay costs of £200 with a £34 surcharge. He was further ordered to pay £20 compensation for the offence of criminal damage, which he also admitted.

Huh – it will only be a matter of time before a report is shown in the island echo of Danny Gibbons being assaulted himself, by someone who bides their time and gets him back for the problems he causes – he is an idiot and will be looking over his shoulder and worried about every noise at night, when he is trying to sleep for years to come.
