Shanklin and Sandown’s Ladies’ Captain, Hazel Smith, and her Vice-Captain, Connie Huntington, vied for honour in the annual Captain versus Vice-Captain Fourball Betterball Stableford on 3rd November.
At the end of the day, it was the Lady Captain’s team who won the salver by a narrow margin.
Prizes were given for the best team scores with Catherine Bachelor and Debbie Berry taking first place on countback with 40 points over Lorrie Hawkins and Geraldine Parmenter. Third place went to Ruth Graves and Christine O’Brien with 37 points.
Nearest the pin on the 9th was won by the Vice Captain, Connie Huntington.
