The ladies of Shanklin and Sandown Golf Club and their invited guests took to the course for their annual Ladies’ Invitation competition last Tuesday (12th September).
In a closely fought Am-Am, Club members Jackie Stephen and Vicki Guildford, together with their respective guests, Sally Hardy (Westridge) and Paula Munns (Sandford Springs) took 1st place with 93 points.
The runners-up were Jane Wilson and Christine O’Brien (Shanklin & Sandown Golf Club) and their respective partners, Penny Diez and Di Clark (Freshwater), carding 92.
The nearest the pin prize for the guest player was won by Jill Robinson (Osborne), with Christine O’Brien winning the prize for the home player.
A raffle was held in support of Breast Cancer Care, raising £161 for the charity.
