Firefighters tackled a kitchen fire at a terraced property on the outskirts of Newport earlier this afternoon (Wednesday).
2 appliances from Newport were mobilised to reports of a property fire on Nicholson Street in Parkhurst at around 13:00.
Crews arrived to find a fire had broken out in the kitchen of the mid-terraced home.
Equipped with breathing apparatus and a hose reel, firefighters made entry to the building and brought the situation under control.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service left the scene at around 13:30.
