The Kings of Leon have been revealed as the Sunday night headliner of the Isle of Wight Festival, joining an exciting line-up for 2014.
Revelers to Seaclose Park will be electrified by a performance to remember when Kings of Leon close the four-day Festival on 15th June. They last played on the Island back in 2011.
Travis, The Vamps, John Newman, Dappy, Lawson and Duke Dumont will also be performing at this years Festival, it has been revealed.
John Giddings, the Festival’s promoter said:
“It’s a rock ‘n’ roll weekend! Biffy Clyro, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Kings of Leon- rock the Wight!”
This latest headliner announcement comes after the American rock group Red Hot Chili Peppers were revealed as the Saturday night headliners on Thursday just gone with the unveiling of a sand sculpture at Appley Beach in Ryde.
Clean Bandit, The Specials, LA duo Deap Vally, Nina Nesbitt, The Horrors, Gorgon City and The Strypes will also be performing over the weekend alongside The Polyphonic Spree, From The Jam, Neon Jungle, Swim Deep, Chlöe Howl and The Selecter, Peace, July Talk, The Move.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Kings of Leon will join Biffy Clyro, Calvin Harris and The 1975 at Seaclose between 12th-15th June.
