Speeding is the problem, there is little traffic law on the island.
I am happy to pay permit parking and extra tax to

I’ve obviously no idea what caused this. But, even 30 is too fast for that road and there is a longish pinch point where its almost impossible for two cars to pass with safety.
Until IW Council have the Balls to implement

HOW? WTF? AGAIN? These people do NOT know how to drive! The island is not like the M25, slow down and stay on your side of the road the white lines are there for a reason, If you can’t adhere to these simple rules give up your licence now?
I prefer to drive on the M25 than the islandcountry lanes.
White lines in the middle of the road “might be there” but where the road narrows one often finds that there are no white lines. There are not many in Firestone copse, so, the Road isn’t wide enough to safely drive at speed. So, you are on your own to make a sensible decision. Now, Isle of Wight and sensible decisions, I wonder?
Isle of Wight driving mentality: There’s no white centre lines so I know I’LL DRIVE IN THE MIDDLE.
