At this weekend’s Isle of Wight Festival, Killers front man Brandon Flowers revealed to Absolute Radio’s DJ Sarah Champion that the UK has a very special place in his heart.
“This Island over here – It was just magic to me and the bands that came out here. And that was what I gravitated towards”
Brandon talks about the family spirit in the band and couldn’t be happier at the bands longevity in the business.
“I think we all have our ups and downs. It’s like family too; you can also draw parallels to brothers and sisters, we love each other like that and we hate each other like that too at times.”
“Some people make it, some people don’t. Some people make it longer than others, there is no real end day or expiration date; you don’t know what is going to happen but I’m really happy that we have lasted as long as we have, really.”
“We have already seen in this decade that we have been around, bands come and go; and so we’re doing alright.”
When asked who’s the best dancer in the group Brandon replied “Oh, none of us our particularly great dancers.”… Maybe they’re human?
