Residents, staff, families and volunteers at Orchard House Care Home in Newport came together to celebrate International Women’s Day with a special musical afternoon that honoured the many women who form part of the home’s vibrant community.
The event brought everyone together for an afternoon filled with music, conversation and celebration.
Special guest performer, Paulo, provided entertainment with a selection of well-loved songs, helping to create a warm and uplifting atmosphere throughout the home. Many residents joined in by singing along and enjoying the lively performance.
The occasion celebrated not only the home’s female residents, but also recognised the important role played by women across the wider community, including relatives, volunteers and dedicated members of staff.
