ISLANDERS ASSEMBLE! FESTIVAL OF HEROES IS BACK FOR 2024

Festival of Heroes heads to the County Showground in just under 2 weeks’ time on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st July. A whole host of heroes, princesses and characters from storybooks and TV will entertain families at the 2-day event – not forgetting Transformers and dinosaurs too! Last year’s event had to be called off due to poor weather, but the forecast is looking much more positive for 2024. Families can expect a jam-packed schedule in the main arena including a fantastic stunt bike performance and circus shows. The big top will house the Bubble Wizard, character shows and Colouroke. To complement all of this there will be many attractions, an all-new toddler area, activities and stalls including vintage amusements, inflatables, pony rides and a gaming bus. The event, which takes place between 11:00-17:00 on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st July 2024 at the County Showground, Northwood, is held in aid of Daisy Chains IW – the local children’s charity. Entry is £7 per person, children 2 and under go free. Cash only on the door.
