Less than 5 years after opening its doors, Ryde-based Island VetCare has been accredited as a hospital by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) under its Practice Standards Scheme.
The prestigious accreditation indicates that the practice offers the highest level of equipment, facilities, staff, processes, management, and above all, service to patients and owners.
Specialist Surgeon Ian Nicholson has said:

Island VetCare is proud to be the only Veterinary Hospital on the Island that also offers the services of RCVS recognised Specialist Vets including advanced imaging (MRI, CT ultrasonography, endoscopy) and surgical procedures through its Island Referrals Team.
This means that referrals to the mainland are, in many cases, no longer necessary, saving people, and their ill or injured pets, the stress and cost of multiple trips to mainland specialist centres. This service is offered to all pet owners on the Island who can be referred from their own vet.

I rang this vet when the RSPCA who were also useless to help a poorly Pigeon I found
in my garden so I rang this Vets too, and they didn’t want to know!!
