Dancers from Ryde and Cowes came together for a joyful Tapathon world-record attempt, raising more than £100 for Children in Need.
The Ella Sheppard School of Performing Arts in Ryde joined forces with All Stars in Cowes for an unforgettable Tapathon event filled with rhythm, fun, and fantastic community spirit.
From the opening warm-up to the final tap, the atmosphere was electric. Students of all ages came together, united by their love of dance, with every participant giving their all – from seasoned tappers to those taking part for the first time.
Adding sweetness to the celebration, dancers and supporters enjoyed a range of cakes and treats between rehearsals and performances, bringing an extra sense of joy to the day.
The event also showcased the remarkable dedication, teamwork, and passion of the students. Their confidence, enthusiasm, and infectious smiles helped create a magical atmosphere throughout.
Organisers say they are immensely proud of every student who took part and grateful to families, supporters, and the wider community for cheering them on and helping to make a difference.
