VIDEO: Several Island roads have become flooded this lunchtime (Monday) after hours of heavy rain, which is set to continue throughout the day according to the Met Office.
Avenue Road in Sandown; Lake High Street; Sandown Road in Lake and North Road in Shanklin are all heavily flooded and almost impassable.
The Met Office say further spells of heavy and persistent rain will affect parts of the South throughout the rest of today with the chance of some intense, slow-moving thundery downpours.
Homes in Cemetery Road, Binstead have been put under threat once again with flood water and sewage rising in gardens, threatening to flood homes for a fifth time (pictured ablve).
