Isabella: The Last Queen of the Wight Live, based on the life of one of the most influential and powerful women of her day, Isabella de Fortibus, is to be performed at Ventnor Fringe this July. Come and meet one of the most influential, independent and feisty countesses of 13th century England. Her remarkable life illustrates the power and riches that could lie in the hands of women of noble birth in medieval England. The play will be staged at Ventnor Baptist Church, Pier Street, PO38 1SX from 23rd to 26th July at 19:00 to 19:00. The play is suitable for those aged 12 or over.
