ISA BALLARD ROSEBOWL COMPETITION FIERCELY CONTESTED AT NEWPORT GOLF CLUB

A total of 48 players took part in the Isa Ballard Rosebowls competition at Newport Golf Club on 17th June. The competition was played in perfect conditions, with the team of Sheila Richard and Penny Diez from Freshwater Bay Golf Club winning the trophies with 41 points. Kate Craig and Maureen Little from Newport Golf Club were second with 38 points, ahead of Jan Brading and Abi Humber from Ryde with 37 points and Christine O’Brien and Brenda Keyte from Shanklin & Sandown also with 37 points. IWLGA captain Joan Dalrymple presented the prizes with President Lynne Maidment.
