Madmas 2020, a new local Instagram competition, is spreading festive cheer both online and on over 110 digital screens on Wightlink ferries and in Portsmouth Guildhall this Christmas.
Islanders and visitors alike are being asked to share a festive photo on Instagram with the hashtag #Madmas2020 to appear online and on the digital screens in as little as 10 minutes, with the chance of bagging a top prize! The photos will be seen by tens of thousands of people over the festive period.
Madmas, brought to you by Madfrog and the University of Portsmouth’s Business Consultancy Project, has been setup with the mission to spread cheer and bring people together again in a safe, digital way.
Organisers would like to see as many faces as possible, but if you are too shy, you can post a photo of your decorations or festivities instead! Local brands, businesses, and organisations on the Isle of Wight and in Portsmouth are encouraged to get involved. Make reference to your brand in your festive photo of yourself or your team to gain some additional exposure over the holiday period.
3 prize categories can be entered into; family, friends and pets. There is a chance to win some incredible extra Christmas presents including;
• Tickets for 4 to POLAR at Robin Hill on 22nd or 23rd Dec – Festive photo of you and your family, to enter add the hashtag #Polar to your Instagram post by 20th Dec.
• The Garlic Farm Hamper – Festive photo of you and your friends, to enter add the hashtag #JingleCloves to your Instagram post by 3rd Jan 2021.
• DJI Gimbal 4 – Festive photo of your pets or you with your pets, to enter add the hashtag #SantaPaws to your Instagram post by 3rd Jan 2021.
