A technical issue at one of the Isle of Wight’s busiest petrol stations is causing issues for motorists looking to fill up this morning (Wednesday).
Tesco Petrol Station on Brading Road in Ryde is currently unable to serve petrol or diesel.
Island Echo understands that there is no issues with the supply of fuel but instead a technical gremlin affecting the pumps.
It is believed that a software issue is to blame.
Those wishing to use the air, screen wash and vac machines – as well as the car wash – can continue to do so.
The station has been experiencing supply issues for a little over a week with numerous pumps taped off and labelled ‘out of use’.
A sign at the entrance to the forecourt apologises for the inconvenience caused.
It is unknown at this time what the issue is or how long it will take to resolve.
