UPDATED: A section of a holiday park in St Helens has been cordoned off by Police this morning (Monday) as they investigate an alleged serious assault.
Officers were called to Nodes Point Holiday Park between St Helens and Nettlestone at around 03:00 this morning, where it is understood three males were involved in a fight which has left one with serious injuries.
An area surrounding a toilet block near to The Duver has been sealed off awaiting forensic examination.
UPDATE @ 12:40 -A 20-year-old male and a 16-year-old male from London have been arrested by Police and are being questioned following this morning’s incident.
A 22-year-old man remains in hospital this afternoon having suffered serious head and facial injuries in the alleged assault.
The investigation continues.
