Hillbans Pest Control has once again been awarded the CEPA European Quality Standard Certification for Pest Management services.
The Ryde-based company is the only pest control firm on the Island to hold this coveted award, a title they have had since 2018.
As one of a select group of companies nationally to hold CEPA certification, Hillbans Pest Control is required to demonstrate best working practices in the management of pests and wildlife, including the reduced use of pesticides.
With the Island being home to several rare species including the red squirrel, Glanville fritillary butterfly, water voles and white-tailed eagle, extreme care must be taken to eliminate the possibility of secondary poisoning whilst maintaining an environment that is pest-free but where native species can survive and flourish.
Sandra Knowles Managing Director of Hillbans Pest Control, comments:
“We are once again delighted to receive this, something that demonstrates a commitment to delivering a professional service to international standards at all times. As a business established over 30 years ago, meeting the highest professional standards for all our customers across the Island has always been of the utmost importance to everyone in our team.”
The award from CEPA adds to the accolade of being the only pest control company on the Island to hold the Quality In Business (QIB) accreditation in addition to receiving the ‘Excellence in Customer Service’ and ‘Growth Business’ Awards from the Chamber of Commerce.
Hillbans Pest Control has also been nominated for the prestigious National Pest Awards 2021, which culminate in a gala awards ceremony at the Houses of Parliament in June.
