Tripadvisor has announced the top-rated hotels in the 2023 Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best Awards with a Shanklin hotel named the 2nd best Luxury Hotel in the UK – and 15th in the whole of Europe.
Analysing 12 months of Tripadvisor review data (1st January 2022 – 31st December 2022) from over 1.5 million hotels, Traveller’s Choice Best of the Best Hotels reveals travellers’ favourite accommodations across 10 categories.
Haven Hall Hotel has surged up 5 places in the Best Luxury Hotel category – up from the 7th spot it occupied back in 2020.
In addition to the definitive list of Top Hotels, sub-categories include All-inclusive, B&Bs, Family-Friendly, Hottest New Hotels, Luxury, Out of the Ordinary Hotels, Small Hotels and 2 new additions for 2023; Best Hotels for Sleep and Best Hotels with Spas.
In more good news for the hotel industry in Shanklin, The Chestnuts on Hope Road came 25th in the Best Small Hotel category.
With prices starting at £420 per night it may be out of the reach of many budgets but you can see some of what all the fuss is about in the video footage below:
