A spine-tingling mix of fine dining and live theatre is returning to East Cowes this October as Albert Cottage Hotel hosts its hugely popular Halloween Murder Mystery nights, ‘A Recipe for Murder’, on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th October.
The immersive dining and entertainment experience is being staged by Caught Red Handed Productions, an acclaimed interactive theatre company known for gripping storylines and surprising twists.
This year’s plot centres on a TV cookery competition where fame, fortune and food are at stake – but amid the rivalry, someone may have more than just dinner on the menu. Guests will be drawn into the drama from the moment they arrive at 18:30, with the performance and dinner service beginning at 19:00.
Throughout the evening, diners will question suspects, gather clues and work together to unmask the culprit before the final reveal at around 22:30. The bar will remain open until 23:00.
The ticket price includes a 3-course seasonal menu, with vegetarian, vegan and allergy-friendly options available by request when booking. Dishes include leek and potato soup with crispy bacon butter, pan-fried chicken supreme with thyme and garlic fondant potato, and vanilla cheesecake with caramelised white chocolate and winter berry compote.
