28 players, in teams of 4 took to the golf course for a 9-hole Texas scramble from a shot-gun start.
Overshadowed by darkness and cold conditions, the teams took the fairway at Shanklin & Sandown Golf Club at around 17:00 last Thursday (1st December).
Using LED golf balls, torches and their wits, they picked their way around the course.
It is hoped that the event can become a fun feature of the golfing programme in the upcoming winter months.
Winning, with a medal score of 26.5, were Shawn Ford, Jon West, Chris Cornwell and Roy Truman.
