A stretch of Forest Road will be closed for resurfacing works during the night for several days.
Forest Road will be closed from its junction with Whitehouse Road to a point 50 metres east (towards Carisbrooke) of its junction with Whitehouse Road for a distance of 50 metres.
A diversion will be in place for motorists -with the diversion route signed at the time of closure. Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the road is closed.
The works are set to take place between 1900 hours and 0600 hours on 25th August 2021 and / 26th August 2021, for a maximum period of 5 days or until the carriageway reconstruction works are completed – whichever is sooner.
